NEXT CLASS: June 8th with Angela from Celtic Naturals!

There are some great outdoor educational opportunities for children within the Metro Park systemand other organizations around Central Ohio.  We wanted to join the fun by dedicating one of our Tuesday night classes each month to KIDS!  We have had a lot of interest in our upcoming Kids Series and I wanted to give you a little better explanation as to what you can expect.  These classes will expose children to nature in a way that they can understand.  We will have all kinds of activities and fun games to keep them occupied and engaged while they learn.  The classes will start at 7:30 and last about 45 minutes.  We will provide some juice and cookies for kids of all ages!  Age recommendation is 4 and up and there is no cost. A chaperone is required to stay with the kids during the class.  Keep in mind that this is a great opportunity for the parents to learn along with their kids.  

The first class will be our Jr. Naturalist.  This is a class designed as a hands on program filled with knowledge of bones, antlers, skulls and a bunch of other provoking objects that students just can’t keep their hands off of. The goal of the program is to encourage learning about nature and let the kids have some fun.
