New Product: MTI Underdog!

UnderdogWe aren now carrying the MTI Underdog life vest!  We have already sold quite a few of these well designed K9 jackets.  The major attraction of this vest it that is supports the dog from underneath which allows the dog to be in a more natural position in the water.  It has a handle for easy retrieval of your pet and they come in 5 sizes from XS to XL to get a great fit on all breeds.  photo curtesy of MTI

Start Hiking!

osprey2We often get people into the store that really want to get out hiking either with the family or solo but don't know the best way to go about getting started.  I was forwarded this article and it does a great job of explaining some of the things to think about if you are new to hiking.  The article is called "Take a Hike: A Family-Friendly Guide to Getting Started" and is found at wholeliving.com.  Good reading for anyone interested in starting to hike.  See you on the trail!
