Kayak Classes

Many people would love to try kayaking but they feel a little uneasy
about what would happen if they were to flip over. Nobody wants to get
stuck under their boat! Our classes will help quell that uneasy feeling
and teach you how to become a confidant paddler. In our introductory
class, you will learn some basic paddle strokes, safety guidelines, and of
course what it feels like to get dumped out of your boat! We might even
give you some tips how to get back in.
We do this class at Aquatic Adventures in Hilliard. A controlled indoor
setting is best when first finding the limits of each boat and the water is
cleaned and sterilized mostly by ultraviolet light which keeps the
chlorine level very low. Classes cost $30 for one or $50 for two people
signing up together. Classes are on selected Wednesdays starting at
