So your purchase arrived and it isn't exactly what you needed. You can send it back to us within 30 days of the original invoice as long as it has all the tags, packaging, and can be sold as new. Basically, take it out, play with it, try it on, check your beautiful self in the mirror, but don't take it hiking, climbing, or kayaking unless you are sure you want to keep it. If your item meets that criteria, send it on back! We will exchange or refund your purchase for 30 days and you will be credited by the original payment method. Any returns after the 30 day mark (must be approved prior to sending it in) will be given a Gift Card for that amount to be used in the store or online.
Your life is important to us. We are super stoked to offer some of the greatest climbing equipment in the world on our site. To protect everyone, any equipment that is used in a load-bearing activity (i.e. Harnesses, Slings, Biners, Rope, etc) is not returnable. In addition, food, gift cards, and clearance items are final sale and are not eligible for return.
We will need the original order number for the return and all items must have the original packaging and tags. If that doesn't happen, a restocking fee will be applied based on what is missing.
Some fine print...
All shipping discrepancies must be reported within 5 business days of receipt of merchandise. Discrepancies reported after 5 business days will not be allowed.
Clintonville Outfitters will repair, replace or give credit on defective products at its sole discretion. As a general rule, we follow manufacturer warranty policies when determining issues regarding repair, replacement, etc.
We allow the return of non-defective items with packaging and tags for up to 30 days after the invoice date. Any exception to this rule is at Clintonville Outfitters' sole discretion. If we, in our sole discretion, allow this type of return, a restocking fee of a minimum of 15% up to a maximum of 75% could be charged-especially if the item cannot be resold (i.e. the item has been used, price stickers are affixed, packaging is damaged, discontinued items, etc.). This is rarely an issue, your satisfaction is important to us!
Orders returned by a freight delivery carrier as refused, bad address, or any other reason without prior notification or authorization will be subject to a minimum 15% restock fee at our discretion.
Warranty or defective products may take 10-15 business days for replacement.
